02.Use masking tape to protect the paint on the exterior of the rearview mirror housing.
03.Carefully inspect the new mirror glass to understand the design of the component.
04.Tilt the mirror glass out of the housing.
05.Check if the mirror glass has a fixing clip.
06.If necessary, loosen the mirror clip.
07.Carefully remove the mirror glass from its mounting device.
08.Disassemble the rearview mirror glass. Mirror glass is usually fixed to the housing with locking clips, and in some cases, the mirror glass is equipped with additional guide elements.
09.If necessary, unplug the wiring connector.
10.Handle the wiring connector.
11.Before installing the mirror glass, check the mounting base.
12.If the connector of the circuit comes loose, insert it back.
13.Ensure correct installation when installing the new rearview mirror glass.
14.Secure the mirror glass by pressing down on the center of the mirror.
